By placing an order through this site you accept the terms below.
International Delivery (non-UK)
Currently I am not able to post to locations outside of the UK. Please do not order from me if you do not live in the UK. Any orders received from outside the UK will be refunded, minus a 10% transaction fee.
UK Residents Delivery Terms
Posting days are Mondays & Thursdays, depending on when your order was received. Usually ordering the day before a posting day will ensure that your order will be posted on that posting day. In cases of extreme weather or when I feel as though there is a threat to the health of your order, postage may be delayed. I will update you when this is the case. Please bare this in mind when you place an order and get in contact with me before ordering if you are unsure.
Some non-mainland addresses may incur an additional charge, or not be possible, if the order is too heavy or large. Currently I am only able to work this out after an order is made.

LIVE ARRIVAL GUARANTEE
I offer a full Live Arrival Guarantee for all items sent with the Special Delivery postage service on checkout. This will cover any live items that are dead on arrival. Generally this is not required but I highly recommend this option for items sent in winter months or for large and/or expensive live orders. Items sent using a free or standard delivery service (1st Class) will not be covered by this guarantee and are sent at the buyer’s risk.
Live arrival terms:
- You must get in contact with me on the day of delivery for a DOA claim to be considered valid. Claims after this point will be considered but are not covered by the guarantee.
- The live arrival guarantee will be deemed as void if its delivery is delayed by a buyer-side error (incorrect address, no one in to accept the parcel, etc.).
- When making a claim, please supply quality photos of any issues you have on arrival to support your claim.
- Live Arrival Gurantee is only available to postcodes that can recieve Royal Mail Special Delivery services.
Plants
Please be aware that the plants sent in any terrarium set will need caring for until they are planted. Please bare this in mind if you are planning to give as a gift. I also offer special delivery next day service which can be used to ensure delivery on a certain day. Please get in contact with me if this is something you would like for availability. Photographs of plants shown on my shop page are shown to demonstrate what a typical plant recieved will look like in terms of size, colour, variegation etc. They will not be exactly the same but should be very similar.
PEST-FREE GUARANTEE
All of my plants come with a pest-free guarantee, which covers all common gardeners’ pests. I work hard to keep my stock pest-free and check every plant before it leaves me. If a plant arrives with a pest, get in contact with me right away with your order number. This helps ensure you receive healthy, happy plants and lets me identify pest attacks earlier.
Pest-free terms:
- You must get in contact with me on the day of delivery for a pest-free claim to be considered.
- When making a claim, please describe your issue and supply quality photos on arrival to support your claim.
- The guarantee only extends to plant pests (insects that are harmful to plants). I use organic pest prevention methods and use springtails and rove beetles with all of my plants, for mould suppression and pest prevention, and I work with many others. Beneficial insects such as these are not covered by the pest-free guarentee and are in fact encouraged!
Orders
When an order has been placed a confirmation email will be sent out. Please check you order, paying close attention to the delivery address provided. If you need anything changed or altered please get in contact immediately. I cannot change an order once it is posted. If you do not receive a confirmation email and it’s not in your spam folder, please contact me right away. On rare occasions where items listed are not available I reserve the right to cancel individual items. I will always make contact with you if something like this occurs to find a solution.
Returns
I do not accept returns for live items. Please bare this in mind when ordering. For returns of non-living items, please contact me by replying to your email order confirmation with your request. All items to be returned will need to be sent back to me at your expense, and be returned in an undamaged and unused condition to qualify for a refund.
Packaging
A lot of my packaging is already compostable and by the end of summer this year I aim for 100% of my postage material to be compostable and recyclable, and for 95% of my packaging to be as well. Currently the classes I use are:
- Bags labelled as compostable are compostable and recyclable. I use cellulose bags derived from cornstarch and woodpulp. They can be safely composted or included in paper recycling.
- Bags labelled as oxo-biodegradable are not recyclable but decompose very quickly in landfill. All being well, these will be phased out and completely replaced by cellulose bags this year.
- Bags labelled as plastic or not labelled should be treated as normal plastic bags. Recycle at shops that offer this or at roadside where applicable.
- Boxes and paper can be composted or included with roadside recycling. The all have a high recycling content so please keep that ball rolling(:
