Cork Stoppers

Price range: £1.00 through £18.50

Cork bark bottle stoppers at different sizes, to suit a range of different needs. Naturally water tolerant and mould resistant. Perfect for DIY terrariums, craft projects, as wine stoppers, cork boards, etc.)

Cork measurements are displayed as TOP x BOTTOM x HEIGHT. The first two are the most important and your bottle opening should be in between these two measurements to fit correctly. If the top measurement is smaller than your opening, the cork will fall into your container, and if the bottom is too small, it will not fit into it! I also highly recommend leaving a few mm either side to allow for a secure fit and to account for measure differences (most measuring devices have slight variations).

For example, if your opening is 25mm, choose a cork that is at least 26mm at the top and 24mm or less at the bottom. For this, a 28x22x20mm cork would be ideal, as it is right in the middle, and has a little room either side.

General Use Guide
Bottle SealingChoose a stopper that fits snugly without forcing it into the opening. Use only with containers suited to the contents and storage conditions.
Crafts & DIYCut, glue, or arrange stoppers for small projects such as boards, labels, models, and decorative accents. Use an appropriate cutting tool and take care when trimming.
CleaningWipe with a clean, slightly damp cloth when needed and let dry completely. Avoid prolonged soaking, which can cause cork to deteriorate.
StorageStore in a cool, dry place away from persistent dampness and direct heat. Discard stoppers that develop mold, unpleasant odors, or crumbling.

For projects involving food or drink, use stoppers intended for that purpose. Avoid using painted, glued, treated, or previously contaminated cork where it may contact terrarium soil, water, or plants.
