Summit Mosquito bits in various pack sizes. When soaked release biological control (bacteria – Bti) that specifially targets and controls mosquito and fungus gnat larvae. Safe for plants and fish.
Instructions
Mosquitos: For mosquito control, sprinkle 1 teaspoon (5ml) per 25 square ft of water, or 1 tablespoon (15ml) per 75 square ft. Increase quantity for deeper water. Apply once a week for heavy infestations or for water with settled organic matter content. Apply every fortnight for lower mosquito qunatities or when little organic matter is present.
Fungus Gnats: For fungus gnat control, mix 2 teaspoons (10ml) for every litre. For heavy infections, use 1 tablespoon (15ml) per litre. Let the bits brew for 1 hour and then skim off and dispose of the floating granules. Stir your treated water and then apply it directly to soil or growing media surface. Compost or discard used granules. Repeat weekly for 3 weeks, or if gnats reappear. Water all plants in surrounding room if isolation is not possible. Treated water is only effective at controlling fungus gnat larvae and should be combined with sticky traps to target adults simultaneously.

Please note:
-The bits are only a carrier for the active bacteria present. When they have been added to water for 30 minutes, the bacteria element will be fully released and the bits can be disposed of. For mosquito treatment this is unnecessary as the bits will break down harmlessly.
-Product is shown in ml to assess quantity of treatment. 240ml is equivalent to approximately 110g or slightly shy of 4oz.
